And they call my dogs vicious...???

Check it out- a dog broke into our yard this morning. It was chaos!!!

The dog is a labradoodle (a cross between a Lab and a standard poodle). It forced its way into the yard, and all mayhem broke loose!!! And my poor Jonah was the one who ended up bloody and hurt.
:-(
We called the police, and Jonah recognized the vehicle that showed up- he ran and hid- he thought they were there for him!!! Poor baby- he was just minding his own business in his own yard, and he thought he was in trouble again.

Anyway the officer said they will hold the dog on viciousness and if anyone comes to claim it they will also be told if we end up needing to take Jonah to the vet they will have to make restitution. Unfortunately the dog was very unkempt, and had no collar or tags, so we figure he was probably abandoned... I feel bad for it, but also for my dogs. They get the bad rap for their breed, and yet it's another dog who attacks them!!!

And Jonah is doing okay, he and Oreo were playing just minutes later, but what a way to get woke up!!!
Here's where he forced his way in the fence.

Scary - if the dog is homeless, he probably was just hungry and wanted some food... Glad your pups are okay!

Man, you make it sound like you live in a small town or something. =) Don't you have shopping there??

The show is over at 5pm, so maybe we can all go to dinner afterwards.

I am still having withdrawls over my very small town! The closest thing to normal shopping is 15 miles away & two towns from where we live, and that's jyst Wal-Mart, which is about 1/3 the size of anything you've got :-( That's rural life for you... and really the only thing I wanted to go to was that resale shop you were talking about the other day.
Dinner sounds great. We can talk about it when we get there. Tell B my dad is sending him a birthday present, we'll bring it with us :-)
